Does popups helps in getting leads for a Orthopaedic Clinic ?

I am having an client that wants to increase his sales and he has an good budget

I am planning to use some banner ads as well as popup options to try and increases conversions to bring about some sales for my client

Do you think using popups is a good idea for bringing more conversions for the clinic or only we should go for the banner ads
